Retail opening hours

Delft is heaven for anyone who loves shopping! Discover the many stores, boutiques, and specialty shops. Most shops in Delft are open daily between 09:00 a.m. and 05:30 p.m. On Sundays and Mondays, most shops in the city centre open at noon. 

On Friday evening, shops stay open until later for even more hours of shopping, when many shops stay open until 09:00 p.m.!  

Supermarkets

Supermarkets have longer opening hours. They open at 08:00 a.m. and don’t close until late in the evening.

Public toilets

School Holidays

School holidays in the Netherlands differ per region, depending on whether you live in the ‘South’, ‘Central’, or ‘North’. Check the annual overview to see the school holiday schedule for each region. Please note that some tourist attractions can be busier during school holidays.

Do you need urgent (medical) assistance or are you in or do you see a life-threatening situation? Call the national emergency number 112 immediately. If you need help but there is no emergency situation, you can call 0900 8844 (police control room).
