A striking ceramic work of art shines in Papenstraat. The 'Ceramic Map' is a map of Delft from the 17th century, made of ceramic and mosaic.

The map was created under the guidance of Nan Deardorff McClain and Colja de Roo, along with hundreds of volunteers.

In the artwork you will find famous buildings, such as the City Hall, the Nieuwe Kerk and the St. Agatha monastery. Small jokes are also included. Can you find Hugo de Groot's book case? And the reference to the work of the well known artist Banksy?
