Delft, Delft Blue and ceramics are inextricably linked with each other. In Delft you will not only find the authentic Delftware but also unique works of art inspired by Delft Blue ceramics.

The Route of Ceramics will take you past several of these artworks. Follow the 300 ceramic cobblestones in the pavement and admire each of the artworks along the route. The blue and white cobblestones have been decorated by hand by the Delft artist Christina Linaris Coridou with the word ‘earth' in all the different languages of Europe.

The Route of Ceramics starts at the St. Agathaplein and ends at Royal Delft (approximately 25 minutes). Don't feel like walking? Not a problem. There is a regular shuttle service between Royal Delft and the city centre.
